How to reduce notebook noise

It’s boring to have the noise while using the laptop. When I heard the noise, I always feel worried and have question mark about my computer. Is there anything wrong with my computer? Is it serious? What’s the problem? So I collect all these information below to share with you. After seen these information, I put my heart to my stomach. It’s not such a serious problem in most situations.

As laptop is more complicated and dedicated than desktop, the noise coming from the inside seems really troublesome.  How to reduce the noise? The first thing is to find out the source of noise. To summary up, the hard disc and the fan are the main source of noise. To have this point clear, it’s easy to handle the noise.

For the hard disc, it’s mechanical rotating while working. so it will inevitably make noise. To be honest, it’s hard to eradicate the noise completely in this case. Like the Dell XPS M1330 Keyboard, HP DV5000 Keyboard and Dell 1300 Keyboard, they have different sounds while typing. However, we can reduce it to the lowest level. The only way is the software-solution. IBM introduces one set of software named IBM Features Tool. We can download from its official website. It’s available. Though it can’t make the noise disappear, it can reduce it to a lower level.

Another source is the fan. It’s not like the desktop. When the temperature of CPU is too high or the laptop is overloading, the fan will rotate and has terrible noise. Therefore, we can cool the CPU.  When we keep it in a moderate situation, our laptop will not have the terrible noise.

Moreover, the noise may be caused by the floppy drive. Sometimes, we tend to ignore this occasion. You can change the set of BIOS order. As the Gateway MX8738 Keyboard and Toshiba 6037B0001401 Keyboard, we can’t use this way to reduce the noise. It’s really annoying to have noise. Mostly, we should reduce the burden of our computer, then the noise can be avoid and reduced.
